Our mission
Haverstock Fencing Club's mission is "to promote the sport of fencing in the local community."
Run by a team of volunteers who are passionate about the sport, we are a progressive club, open to all.
We seek to keep costs as low as possible for our members and ensure the sport is as accessible as possible.
Despite our competitive pedigree, the club is run with a particular emphasis on development.
Haverstock is one of the best equipped epee fencing clubs in the country, with plenty of kit for members to use for free.
Training takes place three nights a week, with a mix of group lessons, individual lessons and fitness work to cater for all levels supplemented with social fencing sessions on Saturdays.

Our History
Haverstock Fencing Club was founded in 1995 by a collective of epee fencers who wanted to establish a centre of excellence in North London.
They quickly managed to gain a reputation on two levels: as a place for elite fencers to train for the competition circuit, and as a friendly but professional environment for children and adults to learn how to fence.
The evidence of their success speaks for itself.
Haverstock has been a dominant force in British epee fencing, with a fearsome reputation on the competition circuit. Many current and former national champions training there, and when top fencers arrive in London from abroad, Haverstock is often their first port of call.
